What is included in the grocery store estimate?

The grocery store estimate represents total receipts of stores that are primarily engaged in the sale of groceries. The estimate includes the value of all items sold by grocery stores and may include receipts for drugs, gasoline, stationery, beer and wine, household items, etc. sold by the grocery store. A retail operation is classified based on its major source of receipts.
