Follow these steps to access data from the American Community Survey (ACS) 5-Year Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Tabulation on data.census.gov:

  • Type EEO in the single search bar on data.census.gov and press enter
  • Click the Tables tab at the top
  • View your results

Tables with “Detailed Census Occupation” in the table title are available for detailed occupation codes. You can select detailed occupation codes by following these steps:
  • Open the filter panel
  • Under the Codes heading, select EEO Occupation Codes → Choose your code(s)
  • Click the X at the top of the filter panel

  • View results for the detailed occupation(s)

How to Access Other 2018 ACS 5-Year EEO Tables and Historical EEO Data

You can access other EEO data through the EEO Data webpage. This will allow you to get the remaining 2018 ACS 5-Year EEO tables and historical EEO data that are not available on data.census.gov.

The EEO Data webpage provides access to the data through a user-friendly online tool or by downloading the files from the file transfer protocol (FTP) site:

  • Web application: Provides the most popular EEO tables through an online tool that is easy to navigate
  • FTP site: Provides the full set of EEO tables for you to download
